The Untold Story Of is finally out!
Without a doubt it was our most demanding work yet — but we think it’s also our most rewarding.
When we went back to writing music after Extravaganza — or rather during Extravaganza, since the first ideas were already there — we asked ourselves one question: what do we want to talk about on the next album?
Digital Dystopia.
(Yes, the album’s first working title really was Digital Dystopia.)
We chose to talk about — or better, to play about — the digital world we live in, the one that pulls us further and further away from reality and from being with each other. And we decided to tell it through a character who realizes he’s trapped in that world and tries to escape it. But he’s an everyman: he could be you, he could be us, he could be anyone else. Hence the title: The Untold Story Of.
Since we don’t want to rob you of the pleasure of discovering the album, giving it your own meaning and finding all the little details that feed the narrative, we won’t hand you a fixed reading of it: we think the best part is doing that through listening. Even so, we’d like to share the little lines we tucked into the booklet, so they can be a loose guide.

The story, track by track
01 93rd Floor
Higher than he’d ever dared. The grey finds a shape at last. Below, a thousand cold lights, no one looking up.
02 Breathing Djently
In, out. The calm never keeps. The chest finds a different time signature; nothing breathes the way it did.
03 O.B.E
Past midnight. Locked doors, empty road. One glance upward, and he’s gone. The same street, blazing, crowded, alive.
04 Videogame Party
Bright, loud, endless fun. Down he goes with the others, warm and laughing. Nothing hurts in here.
05 Insomnia
Wide awake in the dark. The glow still hums behind his eyes. One more loop, one more loop. Almost dawn.
06 Anthropogenesis
Down among the ant-lines again. Ape, man, and whatever comes after. Busy hands, empty sky.
07 Peeking Through Colored Lenses
Away from the hum, down the dark stairs. Behind the colored glass, a room plays itself alive.
08 Beyond the Curtain
Heavy, then everything at once. Past the final glow, through the thick curtain. He looks up, the world isn’t grey anymore.
